Translation of articles for de,fr, and el is coming with a delay
From 21/05/2026 08:55 PM UTC to 22/05/2026 09:30 AM UTC, we have experienced delays in obtaining translation data for articles in de, fr, and el.
The problem has happened to one of the Internal GPUs used for those languages. The server was restarted manually, and the problem has been resolved.
None of the data was lost; we keep translating what was delayed. In a few hours, everything will be back to normal.

Article processing is slower than usual
Everything is back to normal

Due to the maintenance of our server provider on multiple servers, the article processing pipeline is slower than usual. We have been aware of it, we have been preparing, but still it affected the speed. Maintenance is going to be finished in 20 minutes and everything will be back to normal.

Articles are getting restarted with delays
The pipeline was stable for the last 9 hours, no delays in extraction, everything is working as before.
We will get back to it on Monday to do more research and provide a long lived solution.

For the last several hours, we have had spikes in the queues for article extraction. None of the articles is lost, but we are still struggling to identify the reasons for those spikes. I am afraid that we will continue to see it over the weekend. Our team is constantly working on identifying the issue and providing the fix. But it seems like a much bigger problem than usual.

News API is time outing
The issue is resolved. It was not the CloudFLare issue, it was our internal issue. We will review more in details the current issue, create alarms and make sure it does not happen again.

We are currently experiencing problems with our News API. Most of the calls are timing out.
Investigating the issue, nothing seems off from the server side. We think it might be networking.
